The course will unravel some of the mysteries that surround the drawing process and our understanding of it and help you delight in your own creativity.

Be nourished in your spirit and revived in your sense of wonder at the beauty and creativity embodied in the natural and built environment. Learn to see with new eyes and enjoy searching out hidden visual treasures on location as a rich source of creative inspiration and discover new ways of expressing yourself through drawing.

Whether you are a beginner or skilled-enthusiast, time is spent looking at lessons that can be learnt from past masters, undertaking drawing activities using different drawing materials  structured around the visual elements of line and shape, tone, rhythm and texture, space. See ' a taste of the visual elements section'.

Each theme is explored separately using a different subject as a starting point, using both the indoors and outdoors.  Participants are encouraged to choose their own subjects. The course becomes a journey of discovery in which secrets of both the place and drawing process are simultaneously revealed and made accessible.
