School  workshops and projects:

No project is too big for Creanda! They bring the much taught 'Tudors' topic to life through art and put children's creative learning at the front of everything. Faced with limited art  resources, Creanda overcomes these challenges faced by many schools, where others would stumble and give up.

Children had very few experiences like this previously. They loved not only doing their own pieces, but working together as teams to produce a fantastic finished product, something they could all be proud of.

The delivery was detailed, accurate and enthusiastic. It took the children right to the heart of creativity and made them really think about the skills they needed and how they could improve them, unlike skimming the surface in most other art lessons.   Year 5 Class teacher

I don't think 'enthusiasm' would do Creanda'a work justice. It is all this and more!

The creative process is structured with a clear purpose and end point, whilst a great deal of independence and freedom of expression is enabled throughout. The children were really involved and animated. Their enrichment was obvious and those less academic children could shine. The outcomes of the group work were awe-inspiring.

'If  we want children to fly, we need to give them the  opportunity to stretch their wings.'  Creanda artist/teachers helps us to achieve this.  Year 2 teacher

Each stage in the project built progressively on the previous one and took the pupils and teachers to' the next level' in developing creativity through art teaching and learning. There were many moments where children where clearly experiencing 'creative bliss'!  Year 6 teachers

Creativity and restoration:

I really enjoyed myself and I felt that could express my inner-most thoughts  through charcoal and pastel drawing. The Lord spoke to me during this time and I was able to ask for prayer.Handling and forming a piece of clay, then moulding it into a shape helped me rediscover myself.  Kate

Ways of Seeing Courses:

The best course I have been on! Some teachers don't teach – but this one does!

The tutors enthusiasm and non-rigid, non-formulaic style of teaching was really engaging. Overall it was  a brilliant weekend course, very enjoyable, perfect sized-group, excellent teaching.

Absolutely wonderful – no complaints!

Clear instructions, new ideas and structured teaching.

The course was well-balanced with sufficient new ideas for a beginner to cope with.
