Creanda believes that the nurturing of creativity enhances educational, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual, and physical well-being.

• every human is creative at the core of their being, and has the potential to create both for productive purposes, and for freedom of expression or sheer enjoyment.
• 'creating' as a process or series of processes is often undervalued. Making as an activity, a learning style, or a means of self-expression, should be enabled and appreciated.
• the Arts can be used as dynamic tools in any context to re-connect people with their core creativity and to release creative potential having access to 'making' in the arts develops lateral thinking, mental coordination, inventiveness, originality, resourcefulness and imagination
